Insects in guava fruit

These days, guava fruit is ready to ripen, but at the same time, there are also reports of insects in the fruit.

Insects in fruits are caused by a fly called fruit fly. Insects in fruits start to appear when the flower is forming. the fly's eggs merge inside the fruit, and when the fruit starts to ripen and soften, larvae emerge from the eggs and start eating the fruit. These larvae are called fruit flies.

Even if the plant escapes the attack of the fly when the flower is forming fruit, as the fruit gets closer to ripening and starts to soften, the fruit fly can attack at this stage too and can spoil the fruit by laying eggs inside the fruit.

Fruit flies can survive from March to October and continue to reproduce in some way or another, so as soon as the plant starts to flower, Make a fruit fly trap and hang it near the plant, but if the trap was not set during flowering and the fruit is now close to ripening, you can also make a trap at this time.

A simple homemade method for making a fruit fly trap is to take a plastic bottle and make four or five holes in it as many as the fly can fit inside, and put a small piece of banana or guava or any fruit finely chopped inside the bottle, add one cup of vinegar and one cup of water. The smell of the fruit put in the bottle will attract the fly and the fly will go inside the bottle and the fly will fall into the vinegar and die due to the smell of vinegar, in this way the fly will be killed before it can lay eggs on the fruit.
